Boston Social Sailing was organized to help people interested in sailing meet up, sail together, and have fun.
Boston Social Sailing invites everyone interested in sailing come sail with us. Everybody is welcome, from experts to novices and to those who have never sailed before.
Group’s Charter:
• All sailing events are free.
• To make sure everyone gets to sail, new members will be given a priority in booking sailing adventures.
• We will have special sailing adventures in summer.
• Sailing adventures will be recreational for the most part with an average duration of 4-8 hours.
Please note that members with 3 "No Shows” to a sailing event will be removed from the group. Please remember to update your RSVP in-time to give others opportunity to take your seat on the boat. If you can’t make it, please try to give us at least a 24-hour notice. Of course, a more advanced notice would be appreciated.
Boating is an inherently dangerous activity. Members assume all risk associated with their activities, while sailing in a boat and during any event. Member hereby acknowledges that serious accidents may occur during boating or other activities and that mortal or serious personal injuries and/or property damage or other loss may result from participation in the sailing events. Members knowingly assume all risks of participation in the events, including all risk of personal injury and loss of or damage to the Member or their property, including further injury sustained as the result of the efforts of persons who come to the aid of Member(s) if injured as a result of participation in the sailing events, and hereby release all other persons and entities mentioned above who might otherwise be liable to Member.
