Along the way, you'll encounter stunning landscapes, historic landmarks, and abundant wildlife, all while enjoying the serenity of Kent's rolling hills. From the ancient city of Canterbury to the tranquil marshes near Ashford, this trail is a true hidden gem of a trail.

๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ Embark on an unforgettable journey along the Stour Valley Trail ๐Ÿž๏ธ, traveling from the historic town of Sandwich ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ to the remote coastal beauty of Shell Ness ๐Ÿ–๏ธ at Pegwell Bay, before returning to Sandwich. This scenic route blends history, nature, and breathtaking landscapes across Kent's countryside and coastline.
Starting in Sandwich, one of Englandโ€™s best-preserved medieval towns ๐Ÿฐ, weโ€™ll wander through its ancient streets and town walls, rich with maritime history. From here, weโ€™ll follow the trail towards the sea ๐ŸŒŠ, crossing peaceful marshlands and open countryside ๐ŸŒพ as we make our way to the coast. Upon reaching the tranquil shores of Shell Ness at Pegwell Bay ๐Ÿ–๏ธ, weโ€™ll enjoy the stunning coastal views and unspoiled natural beauty.
Our return journey will follow the King Charles III Coastal Path ๐ŸŒฟ, offering breathtaking seascapes as we head back to Sandwich.

๐Ÿพ Friendly dogs are welcome! Please ensure they're leashed when needed, especially around fields with livestock. Owners are always fully responsible for their dogs.

Before hitting the trail, make sure to pack:
๐Ÿ‘Ÿ A - Suitable footwear (preferably walking boots or sturdy shoes, no flip-flops)
๐ŸŒง๏ธ B - A waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers, if you have them) for rainy days
๐Ÿ’ง C - Drinking water and a packed lunch
๐Ÿ’Š D - Personal medication (Let us know confidentially about any medical conditions)
