Hello and welcome! We are a friendly bunch of folks who like to get together to play strategy board and card games. So if you're looking for a group in the area to share the hobby with...you found us! Or if you're even a little bit interested in learning more about the hobby, then you're in the right place too! All skill levels are invited to join in. We teach every single game that we play, so please never feel intimidated to come by!

We are currently meeting one Sunday each month at the Deltona Regional Library, and one Sunday a month at the Deland Regional Library. The group's only condition is that you come to have fun, be nice, be sociable, and make some new friends! We are a pleasant community and would like to stay away from icky things like drama and negativity. Games are meant to be fun! So we aren't the kind of crew that gets bent out of shape about losing, or argues about rules...we'll probably even mess up a few rules along the way! But seriously, we're a really, genuinely sweet bunch of people that just like to get together and play.

Hi everyone! Let's do another online meetup - I think we all had enough fun last time to try it again :)
We'll play on the site Board Game Arena - it's an incredible resource of hundreds, maybe a thousand, games. If you haven't already, then you'll need to make a free account. And you'll likely need to verify your email address first.
What we'll do first is meet in Zoom - so you'll also need to have an account there. This will let us group up into different tables, while giving us the traditional table talk experience. It works great, I promise! You don't need a webcam or anything, but it helps to have audio if you want to goof off and chat like during any other board game :P
Now, here's the catch - we may all be able to play together, depending on how many folks can make it. But to open up options, I'll need a couple or few people that can teach games on Board Game Arena. There are a good amount of free games available that anyone can play...anyone can start a table and run a game. But if anyone happens to have a premium account (I do, it's great), that allows you to start a table for any game on the site, and invite anyone to join - even regular account members. So, if you do have or plan to have a premium account, let me know and I'll have you run one of the groups :)
