Ride the Jack Markell/ Battery Park Trails 21 miles Flat

Join your bicycle riding friends from the LBC Club and Wilmington Rails Trails for one of our most popular rides, a trail ride on the Industrial-Jack Markell Trail from Wilmington to New Castle. In New Casket we will ride a couple miles up the Delaware Bay on Battery Park Trail. Turning back we will ride back to Wilmington where we will stop and eat along the Riverfront at Timothy’s Riverfront Grill. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot of the DuPont Environmental Center. This is a casual ride. Please do not go on this ride if you are not willing to stay with the group and wear a helmet. No one will be left behind. Like always helmets are required. Have a tube with you so someone can fix your flat. This trail is paved or wooden bridges, so any kind of bicycle will do.
