We're bringing back Open Data Journeys!!
Join BetaNYC’s Giuseppe Romano and Kate Irvin for an Open Data Journey—a virtual session exploring open data and civic technology! This session will showcase how to use publicly available datasets and tools to better understand your community.
In this session, Giuseppe and Kate will guide you through a hands-on investigation using the Motor Vehicle Collisions – Crashes dataset. They will walk us through the history of NYC Open Data, navigate the NYC Open Data platform, pose a research question, explore the data step by step, and teach us how to access, clean, and analyze public data using essential tools. We’ll wrap up with a brief Q&A to answer your questions and reflect on the process.
Please RSVP at https://beta.nyc/e250428/rsvp to secure your spot. Hope to see you on the journey!
