Hello Central Oregon 3d Printers!
Well not technically the "printers", but YOU, the maker-who-3d-prints. This Meetup group is targeted at the people who already have a 3d printer, or have access to one through school or work. Or perhaps you do 3d design or 3d art. The group will be embracing all those things, so please come join us! This Meetup group is for showing off your 3d printing creations, sharing your design tips and tricks, arguing about who makes the best filaments, etc.
It should be fun, and friendly. The focus of the group (in general) will be connecting the community of 3d printer geeks, not educating and evangelizing to the general public. However, we will make that our specific focus for certain meetups. Those events will be aimed at the curious, the youth, the people who will become enthusiasts as they explore 3d printing. We believe that sharing our knowledge is imperative to the maker mentality, but that not every gathering has to be us performing for the public.
