Celebrate Mother’s Day with music, art and a moment for yourself. Concert + Brunch for socialising
Join us on Saturday, May 11 at 12:00 PM at Klavieratelier Mignon 1904 (Binningen) for a special matinée concert with brunch — a gentle tribute to mothers, to those who care, to women who create and hold everyday life together.
The program includes music by Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven, alongside works by Marianna Martínez and Marie Bigot — the latter considered by some to be one of Beethoven’s possible Immortal Beloveds.
The image on the poster is by Mary Cassatt, a painter known for her intimate portraits of women’s lives. We’ve chosen this scene in the bathroom because it often represents one of the only private spaces where a woman can be alone — in the midst of family, work, and daily demands.
This concert can be a special gift for your mother — bring her if you like — but you’re also welcome to come on your own or with friends. There are many ways to honour care and presence.
After the concert, we’ll share a brunch with fresh food brought straight from Barcelona. Perfect for socialising and meeting some other mums and people in town.
