What we’re about
The San Antonio Singles Dinners + Drinks group is an inclusive group that promotes social togetherness while enjoying the local gastronomy and mixology scene. For example, gather at a European-themed restaurant while growing chemistry with new friends that were once strangers. Other examples include joining networking happy hours, family owned restaurants, visiting local breweries, and more.
This group promotes inclusivity, mutual respect, and growing positive bonds. We welcome introverts, extroverts, fashionistas, misfits, geeks, cosmopolitan, thrifters, influencers, and everything in between. Remember, it takes people to build a community and that means you becoming part of the whole. If you're tired of being alone while Netflix plays as background music, exhausted of swiping your life away, or become too set into "comfort culture" - come on out!
*A majority of our events will be free of charge to gain admission, any upfront fees will be explicitly detailed in all event descriptions. Consumption charges (e.g. food and drinks) are the responsibility of each attendee.
NOTE: This group is sponsored by The Dating Doc network of groups. The Dating Doc is a for profit dating service that utilizes meetup as part of their marketing strategy to maximize attendance. The company hosts signature events that range from private matchmaking dinners, Speed Dating, scavenger hunts, wine mixers, and so much more.

Speed Dating is a fun and innovative way to make live connections in a short amount of time. Plus, our professional staff will ensure a safe, organized, and fun event for all participants. It's great for those ready to try new ways to make new friends, potential dates, or simply to socialize. Read below to learn more about this event and also why you shouldn't miss out.How It Works:
1. Ensure you arrive no later than 7:30 p.m. so our staff is able to register you on time and assign your seating.2. The Speed Dating portion starts at 8 p.m. sharp so don't miss out on the fun. At this time participants will participate in "round robin" mini dates which last 5 minutes each. Women stay seated while men rotate out to meet the next lady.
3. Participants will have a 1 minute break in between rounds to decide if their "mini date" is a match and also to change stations.
4. Once all rounds have been completed, participants will turn in their sheets to The Dating Doc staff. Stay around and mingle with those that just shared your experience!
5. The Dating Doc will then email all participants their matches within 72 hours after the event.

The Dating Doc presents Dating After Dark: Singles Mixer (Ages: Mid 20s-Young 40s) at DASHI Sichuan. This will be a fun night that will promote socializing and connecting with other attendees while playing an original icebreaker. The "Mystery Cards" icebreaker will be a combination of flirtation, mystery, and intrigue as you find your match. Also, The Dating Doc staff will be actively matchmaking by creating social circles and connections.

How It Works:
1. Ensure you arrive around 7:00 p.m. so our staff is able to register you on time, explain the icebreaker, and introduce you to other groups of singles.2. The "Mystery Cards" portion will start around 8:00 p.m. and will include active matchmaking by The Dating Doc staff.
3. Attendees will receive a card which will include a flirty and/or inspirational message from another attendee. The bottom of the card will also include a clue on what the individual is wearing to make it even more intriguing and fun. You will receive a raffle ticket every time you find your mystery person - have fun finding them!
4. Stick around for the raffle prizes we will announce which will include a Venmo cash giveaway!
