This is a group for anyone interested in hiking in Thailand. All skill levels are welcome, but you should be physically active and able to do intermediate to moderately strenuous hikes. I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. I would like to plan day trips/overnight trips from Bangkok on the weekends (especially holiday weekends) to explore the beautiful natural areas of Thailand. Anyone with experience or knowledge of Thailand's nature areas and an interest in the outdoors is encouraged to join!

Visit Ayutthaya, the old capital of Thailand, and the most important historical events. Visit temples from a historical and architectural point of view. Living up to the past, you can rent Thai traditional dress (optional) for sightseeing around the world heritage site.
We are also going to take a boat tour around Ayutthaya island, which was the main transportation route back in the time. We will get to see the beautiful and important sites located near the river. We end our boat trip by visiting the Elephant bathing site, which is the elephant's natural routine to cool themselves down during the hot day.

09.30: Visit Wat Yai Chaimongkol, a temple of Great Victory. Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon is considered to be the most important historical temple and is one of the most popular temples for tourists in Ayutthaya. The temple has a great historical story and also an outstanding architecture. We will walk upto the tallest pagoda, which bring a good fortune to the visitors
10.30: Boat tour around Ayutthaya city and watch elephants bathing. We will visit a site where the caretakers take their elephants to bathe in the river.
12.00: Lunch at the restaurant
13.00: Optional: Rent Traditional Thai dress to visit inner temples inside Ayutthaya city.
14.00: Visit Ayutthaya Historical Park, the World Heritage temples- Wat Phra Si Sanphet: An important temple built in the Royal Palace, comparable to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha of Bangkok or Wat Mahathat of Sukhothai.
- Wat mahathat: Almost a symbolic of Ayutthaya historical site. A temple in old khom style. The highlight of this temple is the buddha head wrap up with banyan tree
- Wat Chaiwatthanaram: located outside of Ayutthaya island by the river. This temple is the queen's favorite temple and considered as the most romantic site in Ayutthaya historical park.
17.00: Visit the famous Roti Saimai, the famous dessert from Ayutthaya. And we will return to Bangkok
19.00: Back to Bangkok and end of the trip

8.00: Van Leaves from the Gas Station near Wutthakat BTS. It takes around 3 hours to get there, we stop at the gas station for a break
11.00: Arrive at Chaloem Rattanakosin National Park. We will have lunch and Get ready and start hiking. It’s 4 KM routes (round trip, passing cave, and waterfall), and once we reach our destination, Top waterfall, we are going to enjoy our moment then head back.
15.00: Back to the van and head back to Bangkok
19.00: Arrive back to Bangkok----------

Overview
Camping on the National Park private beach and we will do the long walk upon sunset reaching the fisherman village and get seafood dinner before heading back. Next day, we will climb Khao Lom Muak, the panorama viewpoint located inside the Air Force. This peak is only open to hike on the special holiday a few times each year.

Day 1
07.55: Meet at the Gas Station near Wutthakat BTS Station (Bangchak Gas Station)
08.00: Van leaves from the station driving to Phetchaburi Province. (Around 2 hours + Gas Station Stop)
10.30: Arrive at Khao Nang Phanthurat Forest Park. Start hiking the forest park loop to visit sites and viewpoints, following the urban legend of SangThong folk tale.
13.00: Lunch then we continue in the van driving to Prachuap Khiri Khan province (Around 2 hours + Gas Station Stop)
16.00: Arrive to The Wanakron Beach National Park. Set up our camp
17.00: We will do the beach Hiking to Fisherman village, have dinner around the beach area (10 KM round trip)
20.00: Return back to the campsite, and enjoy the rest of the day.
Day 2
08.00: Breakfast at the campsite, and after that we will tidy up the campsite
09.00: We leave the campsite drive to Khao Lom Muak. (Take around 30 minutes to get there)
09.30: Arrive at Khao Lom Muak, register for the hike and get ready to hike up.
**10.00:** Start hiking up to the peak. We will start with the staircase, and then we will climb on the limestone with the rope up to the peak. This should take around 2-3 hours to reach the peak and return.
13.00: Lunch near Manao Bay, you can take a shower here
14.00: Leave from the Bay back to Bangkok
16.30: We will stop at Uncle Tanom Palm orchard.
19.00-19.30: Return back to Bangkok and end of the trip

We are taking a day trip to two of the most popular trails near Bangkok, the stonehenge trail, the big vertical stone standing at the top of the cliff, and the hidden banyan trail, the hidden forest trail located inside the Nakhon Nayok Military Training Academy.
Our journey begins at the small village at the edge of Khao Yai forest. We will take a 4 km loop trail from the village to visit the viewpoint and the big stone on top of the trail, before returning by the back trail to finish the loop. Then, we transfer to the van, and visit the Thailand military academy for the hidden banyan trail. We will start out from the temple, where we climb a hidden staircase to a small pavilion and viewpoint, and then follow a concrete path behind the pavilion to the golden Naga hill.

10.30: Arrive at the starting point of the trail #1. Get ready and a brief introduction about the trail. We will hike at the average speed. Once we get to the top, and enjoy ourselves, we will head back down.
12.30: Return back to the van and get lunch. After lunch, we will return to the van and continue to the second trial, the hidden banyan trail. The commute takes around 25 minutes
14.00: Arrive at the trailhead. We will get ready for the hike the trail #2. This trail take average of 2 hours to finish the trail
16.00: Visit the abandoned cand Naka waterfall.
16.30: Van leaves to return to Bangkok
19.00: Return to bangkok and end of the trip
