Backabush is going hiking on the amazing Isle of Man!

Group size - 16. Number of nights - 4. Accommodation - recently refurbished seafront hotel.

The Isle of Man offers a beautiful mix of coastal paths, rugged hills, and scenic views, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Located in the Irish Sea, the island is a fantastic destination for a hiking adventure so our plan is to explore this incredible isle tackling as many of the classic trails as we can over our 3 full hiking days.

On the Isle of Man we will stay for 4 nights in a charming 3-star hotel overlooking Douglas Bay and right on the promenade in the centre of the city of Douglas. Originally steeped in Victorian heritage, our hotel is now fully modernised with recently refurbished rooms.

Classic hiking routes of the Isle of Man include:

• The Raad ny Foillan (The Way of the Gull)
• Snaefell Mountain
• The Slieau Lher (The Mountain of the Shining One)
• Glen Walks - The island has several picturesque glens

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

• 4 nights in a charming 3-star seafront hotel.
• Freshly cooked breakfast every morning.
• Guided hikes by qualified Mountain Leaders and certified first-aiders.
• Financial protection in accordance with the Package Travel Law 1992

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

• Dinner. Our accommodation in the heart of Douglas will have plenty of local pubs and restaurant nearby.
• Lunch. We can pick up picnic supplies at the supermarket.
• Flights to the Isle of Man.
• Transport on the island. Cars can be hired cheaply and costs can be shared between passengers. We will help to organise this and make sure everyone has a seat in the hire cars.
• Travel Insurance.

MEETING DETAILS:

The meeting point will be at Ronaldsway Airport on the Isle of Man Saturday 13th June at 13:30pm.

It is still too early to book flights but easyJet, British Airways and Loganair fly daily to the Isle of Man. As soon as flights are released we will be in touch.
