Welcome to AWS Cloud Security - NoVA (AWS Security User Group)

Every year AWS introduces many products and services; a clear understanding of these products and proper configurations would ensure that we maintain a complete and comprehensive view of the organization's security environment. AWS gives us the ability to perform cloud security activities more agilely; the question is, how much do you know about these services? What are the best practices for you? What is the most cost-effective combination of security services?

We aim to advantage our members, from beginner to intermediate to expert, with a comprehensive understanding of the vast and diverse availability, application, and benefit of "AWS." The AWS Cloud Security - NoVa Meetup, therefore, exists to promote awareness and application of AWS Security-based technologies for bettering our governments, enterprise businesses, communities, and our personal lives and global well-being.

You may be interested in this group if you want to: identify, learn, observe, monitor, and explore AWS Services that would help us maintain a secured enterprise, build AWS distributed, fault-tolerant applications, design system architectures, and study for AWS Certifications.

There will be an assortment of events that will harbor business development and relationships far and wide. Look out for our happy hours and other networking events online and off! On many occasions, however, there will be several collaborations that may fit outside of the cloud security purview.
