How to Play
If you're interested in playing, be sure to RSVP to this event at least one hour before it is scheduled to begin. About 30 minutes before our start time, you'll receive a message here on Meetup with a link to our Discord Server. For the best experience, all players should come to each session prepared with:

• A Copy of the 2024 D&D Player's Handbook (Strongly Recommended, but Not Required)
• A Completed Level 5 Character Sheet (Pre-Made Characters are available)
• A Set of D&D 5e Player Dice
• A Notebook and Pencil for Notes

Using Discord
Most of our gameplay will be over Discord's Voice Chat. For best results, please follow these guidelines:

1. Download the official Discord app onto your computer: https://discord.com/download
2. When you follow the link to our server, make sure that you follow it onto the app, not onto a webpage in your browser.
3. Wear headphones during the event. (If you let voices come through your regular speakers, it may cause echoes and other complications.)

House Rules
Each player only has control over their character's actions and behavior, not the actions or behaviors of others. The appropriate tone for the game falls around a PG-13 rating. Please refrain from language, jokes, or character choices that may make others feel uncomfortable. During the game, players are expected to give their full focus and attention to playing the game. This includes taking notes and keeping track of their Character’s hit points, spell slots, class abilities, and other stats. Do not ever talk over other players or the Game Master. “Metagaming” is not permitted. The Game Master’s rulings are final, even if they contradict the game rules as written. Finally, players should be 100% honest about their dice rolls. (Both successful AND failed rolls can lead to interesting stories and character moments.)
