What we’re about
The ASCM WC (Western Canada) Chapter is one of the largest and oldest of over 270 chapters located throughout North America, that covers the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan and is managed by volunteers. We meet online and onsite for Professional Development Meetings as well as deliver training in Supply Chain Management. We organize and bring in experienced supply chain leaders to give their insights on a diverse range of industry topics and trending Supply Chain topics. Our link https://wc.ascm.org/
We hold sessions every month related to the supply chain and are great opportunities to meet online and in person with other professionals, students, and supply chain, enthusiasts. Subjects can range from inventory management to purchasing to inspirational subjects to high-level Sales and Operations planning. Our speakers come from a range of backgrounds in Supply Chain and as well locations throughout North America. We are always looking to hold different events and as well introduce different speakers who will provide attendees with engaging subject matter. Sometimes it's all about having a drink and meal together than listening to a panel discussing one of the latest trends in the supply chain.
Operating close to the Burnaby/Vancouver border, ASCM Western Canada offers monthly professional development meetings, plant tours, and workshops. It has also expanded its educational resources to include regular articles to be published on its blog.
Looking forward to seeing you at one of our meetings or gatherings.
