Sounds Good and Good Memories. Currently, we have 8 Sounds Good choirs, and one Good Memories choir in the Gold Coast. Sounds Good choirs are for adults 55+ and the repertoire, while moderately challenging, does not require prior singing experience, or the ability to read sheet music. Singers work with their conductors in weekly rehearsal to learn voice parts and a repertoire of roughly six to seven songs. Good Memories is designed to create a fun and stress-free atmosphere where persons with early-stage dementia and their care partners can comfortably participate in singing familiar, less challenging songs and the emphasis is on interpersonal engagement (and having fun!).
