Join me for a fun weekend of camping at Proud Lake Recreation Area in Wixom! Socialize, play games, cook up some mean camp food, and hike the extensive trail system. There is water access a mile from the campsite, so feel free to bring kayaks or fishing gear. Have any yard games or board games you love? Bring 'em!
We will have the Red Oaks group campsite reserved, which holds up to 75 people. There will be fire pits and picnic tables on site, as well as a vault toilet and water pump. The toilets and showers at the modern campsite nearby are also available for use.
Food: As we get closer to the event date, I will update here what the number of attendees will be. Everyone is responsible for bringing enough food to share with the group for two breakfasts, two snacks, or two dinners. Comment below with what you will bring.
If your first name starts with A-G, bring two breakfast items.
If your first name starts with H-O, bring two snack items.
If your first name starts with P-Z, bring two dinner items.
Everyone is on their own for drinks and lunch on Saturday. Bring your own dishes and whatever cookware you need for preparing the food you are bringing.
