Sunday Walk - Derby - with a twist.

Details
Due to numbers we will likely split into smaller groups at 5 minute intervals.
Our 'monthly' walk this month see's us take in the sights of our local city on a Sunday when it will be a little quieter to explore maybe a little bit more than normal.
We might learn the whereabouts of M.E. Bewty's long since lost sack of treasure. Thought to be hidden in Scotland until recently when new information came to light to suggest it may not be quite as we were led to believe.
Naturally it starts and finishes at the pub, in this instance The Old Silk Mill pub. The walk is around 2 miles unless we get lost, takes in the pub, Gaol, cathedral and a few other places not very often viewed.
As ever not a fast paced walk, the aim is a bit of fun brain power, chatter and some fresh air. Its mostly urban pavement and path walking so wheelchair & mobility scooter friendly. Canines welcome, including in the pub. Food and drinks available in the pub, Welcome to The Silk Mill - The Silk Mill Pub, Derby
Pub opens at 12 and hopefully it will be warm enough to meet in the garden around 12.10.
Nearest parking is Full Street or just behind Derby cathedral, but get the H1 from Heanor or the Red Arrow from Nottingham.
Running alongside Derby 40up group.
