What we’re about

ADHD Adults & Their Partners, a couples peer group.

Are you in a committed relationship with an ADHDer? Do you wish you could talk to other people who are ADHD adjacent? Then this is the group for you.

Are you an ADHDer, diagnosed or not, in a long term relationship? Do you have awareness that things aren't quite working out? Then this is the group for you.

We are here to support and grow the ADHD community to live our best lives. For us happy partnerships are key to leading fulfilling lives.

We need & want support from people we can relate to, people whose lives are impacted by ADHD just like us. That's why we created this group for both partners: ADHD Adults & Their Partners, a couples peer group.

We know the struggle:

  • For the non-ADHD partner it can be a lonely exhausting road. Your partner who was once attentive now seems uninterested;  you don't feel heard, appreciated or loved. You are so busy 'doing it all' the fatigue is palpable. Some people describe it as 'Groundhog's Day', the same struggles over and over.
  • For the ADHDer, you may feel like you are being micromanaged, nagged or criticized all the time. You didn't intentionally forget. No matter how hard you try, things go wrong, and you are left feeling misunderstood.

Together we:

  • Connect with people who share our struggles because they have been there
  • Enhance our understanding of  ADHD’s impacts on our lives & relationships
  • Learn 'insider' terms (time blindness, second wind syndrome, hyper-focus)
  • Find more efficient and effective ways to cope

This is a safe space.
We welcome people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities.
This group is for people whose primary relationship is impacted by ADHD, be they LGBTQIA+,  BIPOC, neurotypical, or neurodiverse.

Be part of a community of people exploring similar issues. Learn from true peers, try on or adjust their winning strategies, because it can get better.

Come with an open mind and heart to share what you've learned - tools, tips and tricks, challenges, questions, whatever is on your mind.

We start the meeting with a brief check-in and ask everyone (especially new members) if they have any particular topic they'd like to discuss. We use those suggestions as our jumping-off point for the meeting.

This group is for both partners - you can attend solo if that works for you.

Join us online from the comfort of your home.
