What we’re about

This group serves to provide a sense of community and opportunity to foster friendships with like-minded individuals. People who enjoy hiking, backpacking, mountaineering, and other outdoor/physically-active activities in NM.

The majority of events held are focused on hiking and you can expect to see a difficultly (easy, moderate, or hard) associated with each event. Event hosts are not certified guides however, so you will be expected to hold your own.

If you're seeking an easy (entry level) hiking opportunity with lots of socializing to make new friends while getting outdoors, then we encourage you to start out with our weekly sunset hiking series. Be sure to inquire about our thriving Discord server (with hundreds of members) when you attend one of our hikes, so you can connect with folks directly to plan other adventures and further strengthen your new friendships.

(And for the avid pursuers of social activities, such as city exploration, games, food/drink, movie nights, playing sports, and much much more - we encourage you to check out our sister group - ABQ 20s and 30s Social)

We hope to see you soon!
