Welcome to A Snail's Pace Running Club (ASPRC), the place to go for anyone who would like to run (or walk) and socialize with people who love running and socializing! We run for many different reasons, with varied abilities and in many different ways, but we love to hang out and experience this little bit of life together. ## Description
Amigos De Bolsa Chica, in conjunction with Bolsa Chica State Beach is hosting a run/walk/beach cleanup. The categories include:
5K, 10K, 1K fun run, 5K Plogging (picking up litter while jogging), 10K Plogging, and Beach Clean up onlyRun and Walk along the beach on a flat and fast course. Proceeds help the Amigos de Bolsa Chica's (a 501c3 non-profit established in 1976) efforts to offer environmental leadership roles to all by providing community-based education programs centered on the Bolsa Chica that create greater awareness of coastal California's threatened biodiversity.
There is a family friendly expo at the basketball courts with demonstrations, showing what Amigos de Bolsa Chica is all about. Look at Bolsa Chica water samples through microscopes, learn about the wetlands and the birds that visit there, and explore what we can do to protect the environment and the wildlife of the wetlands.Discount Code: SNAILS will get you a 10% discount

Entering its 33rd year, the Run For Education is a major fundraiser for El Segundo's K-12 public schools and one of Southern California's unique USATF-certified 5k/10k courses. Hosted by El Segundo's PTA Council, the Run For Education features a moderate coastal climate and a tour of downtown El Segundo and its local residential neighborhoods. It's a sampling of small-town Americana.

Come run with us. Everyone is invited; fast, slow, and everyone in between!
We meet at 5:45 pm and start the run at 6:00 pm.
The route is just under five miles and finishes at A Snail's Pace before 7:00 pm for light refreshments.
