Blockchain and the Legacy Financial World - What would Satoshi say?
Details
Ever since blockchain has been a buzz banks and other legacy institutions have sent their technologists out to explore.
And when Blythe left JPMorgan to start her own shop (DAH) the banking consortium R3 became the 'new club on the block' with never before seen collaborations on the rail.
Much has changed since the industry has matured and it is a good time to take stock because the lack of distinctions can be confusing.
Why are banks interested in Blockchain? Isn't that a decentralizing technology that should offer an alternative to traditional banking?
What would Satoshi say?
In this session we discuss what makes DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology - to which blockchain is a subset) attractive for the financial world. What becomes possible?
What if institutions would use the public blockchain?
What are the risks of joining or missing opportunities to innovate?
From their experience, knowing the legacy financial world inside and out, what are these trailblazers, our speakers, most excited about?
Join us to find out and share your own take.
