About us
This is a meetup group for the creative people of Stockholm who are looking for companionship of other creatives. We aim for a simple sense of community to begin with, and if people are inspired, perhaps some collaboration can happen.
Meetups are held on a regular basis where we engage in conversations and discussions about a predetermined topic of interest.
People of all creative fields are welcome to join. Whether if you are into creative writing, filmmaking, painting, photography, performing, designing, or just have a general interest in creativity, we would love to meet you. It is a rich mix and makes for a lively meetup!
With a healthy dose of “fika”, we encourage and inspire each other to explore our creativity by fostering a vibrant space that is supportive and non judgmental.
Things to expect:
• A friendly group of supportive people to hang out with on a regular basis.
• A safe environment for new creatives and established ones.
• Fika!
Things that we avoid:
• Judgment calls. This is a friendly community where we can find support and camaraderie.
• Drama. Let's leave the drama in the fictional stories!

Sketching Session: Historical sketching
Kungsholmens bibliotek Internationella biblioteket - Stockholms stadsbibliotek, Sankt Eriksgatan 33, Stockholm, SEJoin us and draw from creative prompts related to history! Interested in sketching people and landscapes from the eras gone by? Using the library's collection as inspiration, you’ll get to draw your own historical characters, scenes, and architecture, be it knights, samurais, galleons, steamships, temples or castles. Whether you lean toward ancient times or the Industrial revolution, we'll be there to help you find inspiration. All materials provided!
No drawing experience needed, just your imagination! Free to join!

- TIME: 11:00.
- VENUE: Kungsholmens Internationella biblioteket, on the second floor.
- WHAT TO BRING: Feel free to bring your own sketchbook/tablet.
- FOOD & DRINKS coffee/tea will be provided.
This event is hosted by the Sketching Club gang, Pierre, Nina, Dhruv, and Dana, and is in collaboration with the lovely people over at Stockholms Stadsbibliotek (Stockholm Public Library).
