What we’re about
A group for iOS and Swift developers who want to explore all that's new and fascinating in Apple development. Expect deep dives and bleeding edge stuff.
We meet in London, but if you don't happen to be there, catch the videos at [NSLondon.com](https://nslondon.com/).
If you are interested in speaking at a future event, then please fill in our speaker proposal form.

NSLondon 2025.5 at Google
Join us this month for an exciting event hosted by Google!
We have three great talks lined up, plus plenty of time to chat and meet others in the community. Whether you’re new to Apple platforms or have been building for years, everyone’s welcome.
We can’t wait to see you there!
📅 When:
Wednesday, 26th November at 6:30 PM.
📍Address:
St Giles High St, London WC2H 8NU
Nearest tube station is Tottenham Court Road and Covent Garden.
💬 Talks:
Peter Friese — Have Your Cake and Eat It Too: Hybrid AI with Apple Intelligence and Firebase AI Logic
"Want to use Apple Intelligence and have the power of cloud AI? This session is a practical guide to building a “local-first” AI architecture in Swift. We’ll use protocols to create a single, resilient system that tries fast on-device inference first, then intelligently falls back to the cloud, giving your users the best of both worlds."
Hannah Downey — Compose Yourself: SwiftUI and its Android Counterpart
"The native mobile development world has gone fully state-driven and declarative, but how does SwiftUI compare to Jetpack Compose? I rebuilt my native iOS app (Get It Write), originally launched on the App Store using SwiftUI, in Jetpack Compose for Android- now live on the Google Play Store. In this talk, we’ll explore how both ecosystems handle state management, releases, data, and architecture, highlighting their differences, similarities, and quirks."
Giordano Scalzo — AI-Accelerated Mobile Development: From idea to build, faster than ever
"AI can speed up iOS work without taking away your judgement. We’ll explore how to use AI tools effectively in real-world development, covering smarter autocomplete, chat, and agent-based coding. You’ll see quick demos modernising a small legacy app and building a new one from scratch, plus a short list of practical tips and resources to apply right away."
