What we’re about
This group was started because several Meetup members have expressed an interest in kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding. We all know it's always more fun and safer to go paddling with others.
The purpose of this group is to provide a group of fellow paddlers with whom to go kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding in a family friendly environment. A large group of people will provide a wide variety of experiences from which we can all enhance our abilities.
This group is open to all levels of paddling experience but will be primarily be best suited for those of beginner and intermediate skills. Safety is always a top priority.
Members don't need to own a boat to belong to this group. We have several boats to rent for those who don't own a kayak. But once you've been paddling a few times you will want to buy one.
