What we’re about
HSC is an abbreviation for Huggers Ski Club, established in Rochester NY in 1969. This MeetUp group is a way to reach out to invite new people, singles and couples, age 21 and over, to join in our activities.
Come join us for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, bicycling, kayaking, canoeing, camping, picnics, casual and formal dinners, happy-hours, euchre parties and more. During ski season, we also have group downhill and cross-country trips.
Outdoor events and happy hours are always free and open to the public, so come "try us out!" For events where Huggers Ski Club rents a venue and provides free or subsidized beverages and food, non-members or HSC MeetUp members will need to pay $10 over what a Huggers Ski Club member pays. This will be noted in MeetUp.
To become a Huggers Ski Club member, annual dues are $30.00 for the first fiscal (June to May) year then $20.00 per year after that. To join Huggers Ski Club, follow this link: Join the Club! >>Huggers Ski Club.
If you choose to join the Club at an event, your attendance fee will be adjusted accordingly.

To be accepted as a member of this group you must post with, and always maintain on your profile, a photograph with sufficient clarity of your face to be able to identify you. If you do not meet this condition, your HSC MeetUp group membership may be declined or revoked. Thank you for your understanding and compliance. It is to be used strictly for the pursuit of group recreational activities. Violations can result in banning from this site. The Huggers Ski Club, Inc. (HSC) and its directors, officers and representatives are not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from any personal injury or property damage that may occur during or in relation to any HSC activity, event, or trip.
