The design of the labyrinth was inspired by 2nd Century BCE Romans and would be commonly found on pottery, tablets, and tiles. The labyrinths were built wherever they settled, which was in North America and Europe. These labyrinths may seem quite similar to mazes but they have one main difference: mazes have multiple incorrect routes while labyrinths only have a singular path. This means there is no worry about potentially getting lost!

An amazing quality of the labyrinth is that it can be used for relaxation and meditation purposes. Due to the fact that labyrinths don’t have multiple routes, you won’t feel the stress of getting lost. It can allow you to relax for those that struggle with sitting meditations.
