In September 2020 the Portland Area Chapter of Freedom From Religion Foundation will officially close. As the chapter founder and President, I wish to thank you for your interest and support. We have accomplished many amazing things and have been an excellent representative of FFRF.
The good news is that a new organizer has stepped up – Dave Hagland. He will take this meetup in a new direction and soon will be contacting the meetup members on his plans on moving forward. The meetup will continue as a secular group with a broader focus than the specific purposes of FFRF which were to promote the constitutional principle of separation of state and church and to educate the public on matters of nontheism.
We invite you to continue your membership in the new version of this meetup! Watch for more information from Dave, your new organizer, in the near future.
