Interested in deep diving into blockchain & cryptocurrency technology? Curious about how to build distributed apps that leverage smart contracts programming? Looking to understand what are the fundamental innovations of various crypto projects and tokens? Do you want to learn Solidity, Lisk, etc? Want to run ASIC, GPU or CPU miners? Would you like to understand how to evaluate an ICO on its merits?Need a sounding board for your own startup ideas in the space? This is a Meetup for technologists, developers & entrepreneurs in or getting into the blockchain & cryptocurrency space who are interested in studying these technologies and how they can be applied.
At each Meetup, one member will present a topic that they have prepared in advance and give attendees a study path to deepen their knowledge or practice of the topic. The Meetup has a pizza dinner + class format, there may be some preparation prior to the class. It will be content rich - expect to come out of each meetup with a much deeper knowledge of the topic.
Just as important, this meetup is not for people without at least a foundational knowledge of computing, for the general public interested in learning about bitcoin (there are other meetups for that), or for professionals in other industries that want to learn what the crypto revolution is about (e.g. lawyers or wealth managers). It's for people who want to become practitioners of the tech, whether in development, product or operations.
