Join Us at the November AVLMeetup: The 3rd Annual State of Economy.
For our last meetup of 2024 we are going to focus almost exclusively on how Helene has affected, and will continue to affect the local economy. This is our 3rd annual State of OUR Economy, and it's easily the most timely and relevant year end primer for your business going into 2025.
We've got an amazing lineup of speakers to cover the state of OUR economy from 3 important angles: service/hospitality, residential real estate, and non-profit recovery efforts (see below).
When and Where?
Date: Tuesday December 3rd, 2024
Time: 5:30-7:30+
Location: The Mule @ Devil's Foot Beverages
Our Panel of Experts Include:

A former member of the U.S. Treasury CEO Roundtable under the Obama administration, she advocates for sustainability, diversity, and human rights. Susan advises the World Trade Center Institute, mentors CEOs, and serves on multiple advisory boards. A frequent speaker on leadership and impact, Susan will address Asheville’s service and hospitality sectors in the post-Helen recovery.
Mike Figura: founder and owner of Mosaic Realty. With a focus on Asheville and the WNC region, Mosaic Realty specializes in everything from modern green homes to historic properties. A University of Virginia graduate with a background in environmental science, green building, and urban planning, Mike moved to Asheville to embrace its natural beauty and vibrant culture. Since founding Mosaic in 2009, he has grown it into Asheville's leading locally owned brokerage. Mike will speak to the residential real estate sector's recovery post-Helen.
