London 20 & 30s Community | The Great Friendship Project

On Friday 24th July, we'll be kicking off the weekend with a bit of competitive social fun... with our latest Friday activity night 🎯

Yep that's right, we'll be heading to Ealing Broadway to enjoy some of the best value activities you can do in London.

To start the evening, we'll be meeting at a nearby pub, giving you the chance to get to know your fellow 20s and 30s before the games begin.

We'll then head over to BOOM Battle Bar for an hour of adrenaline-fuelled axe throwing 🪓

At the venue, we'll have our own dedicated host, who'll help you hone your technique before you start smashing those bullseyes.

Once everyone's had some expert coaching, the host will organise a fierce-but-friendly tournament, giving you the chance to put your new skills to the test against your new friends across a number of rounds 🏆

After that, we'll split into smaller groups for a game of Crazier Golf - a fun, chaotic twist on mini golf, packed with loops, catapults, conveyor belts and plenty of unexpected obstacles.

Best of all, while this combination of activities would cost over £40 at some venues, we've secured an amazing deal, meaning the whole evening is just £10.35 per person ❤️

We have tables booked at a pub nearby beforehand at 7:00pm for drinks.

However, we'd kindly as that you arrive no later than 7:30pm, so we can head over to the venue together for the start of the experiences.

On Sunday 26th July, we're hugely excited to be hosting our latest FREE Board Games Afternoon, exclusively for 20s and 30s.

Yep, that's right - we're back with another weekend games afternoon and we've booked out a big private space in central London.

If you've not been before - we’ve got a fantastic collection of some of the most popular games that you’ll be able to choose from.

From classics like Exploding Kittens and Codenames, social deduction games like Chameleon and Avalon, to party games like Dixit and Wavelength, you’re sure to find something you’ll love ❤️

And over the course of the afternoon, you'll be able to mix around, play a variety of different games, and meet lots of friendly new faces.

All of our games are designed to be quick to play, easy to learn and accessible - and you’re also very welcome to bring your own, as long as they fit the bill and work for groups of 6 or more!

Best of all, it's completely free to join us, so if you're looking to play some games, meet new people, and have a laugh, we'd love to have you join us.

Set up in November 2021, the project was set up to help young adults in their 20s and 30s meet, connect and hopefully build lifelong friendships.

To help make this happen, we also host all kinds of events from free social walks, games evenings, day trips, social events, activity nights to picnics.

We don’t do boring Wednesdays - so on 29 July, we’ll be bringing some creative sparkle to your week, with our latest Drink & Do Night 🎨

Yep, we’ll once again be getting our creative juices flowing and heading to Knightsbridge for an evening of crafts and social drinks, exclusively for 20s and 30s.

And with International Friendship Day on 30th July, our theme is “Friendship & Connection” - a celebration of the people who matter most, brought to life through art 👭

We’ll provide all the paints, brushes, and materials you need to create your own masterpiece - something inspired by what friendship means to you, or your connection to someone special.

But that’s not all - you’ll also get to sculpt with air-dry clay, a super fun, fast-drying material that’s perfect for crafting friendship-themed ornaments, keepsakes or small handmade gifts 🎁

If you've not used it before, air-dry clay is great for trying out sculpting bowls, figurines, or ornaments and unlike normal clay - it doesn't require firing in a kiln and so you can take it home with you.

And once the crafting is done and your creations are complete, we’ll clear the tables so you can unwind, grab another drink, and get to know your fellow artists.

Back by popular demand, on Friday 31st July - we’re excited to be hosting our latest Silent Disco Party, exclusively for 20s and 30s 💃

Yep that’s right - over the last few months, we've had a number of requests for another of these parties and so it's back!

To start the night in style, we've booked out an area at a nearby pub in Fenchurch Street to give you chance to grab a drink and get to know some of our community a little better 🍻

When you've had chance to loosen up for the night ahead, we'll then be heading to our very own Silent Disco Party, exclusively for our community.

If you’ve never been to a silent disco, think of it as an amazing club night… with the same energy, dancing, and fantastic music, but with a twist 🎶

Instead of the music being controlled by a single DJ, everyone will receive their own personal set of wireless headphones and you'll have 3 channels to choose from, giving you complete control over the music and the volume!

But these aren't generic music channels, as they'll be controlled by our resident DJ team - who'll be up against one another in an epic "Battle of the DJs" 🪩

Each have prepared a playlist of some of the very best tunes, from club anthems, pop classics and epic party mixes, all designed to win your attention and get you dancing.
