London 20 & 30s Community | The Great Friendship Project

We don’t do boring Wednesdays... and so on 15th October, to spice up your midweek, we’ll be heading to one of London’s most exciting new immersive experiences.

Yep and for this one, we're off to SpyGames - a new high-adrenaline venue packed with team missions and competitive challenges designed with input from CIA and Special Ops experts.

We’ll kick things off at a nearby pub so you can grab a drink, meet your fellow recruits, and size up the competition before heading to the main event.

When we arrive at the venue, we'll be grouped into teams to face a number of fast-paced mission zones, from Cipher Sequence and Trap Attack to Stealth Matrix and Memory Ops.

Some challenges are designed to test your mind, others your body, but all are designed to push your strategy, speed, and teamwork under pressure.

And over the evening, your scores will be tracked in real time with your own Spy wristband, with rewards to unlock along the way.

And if you’re not ready for the fun to end, we’ll head back to the pub afterwards to share war stories and celebrate victories.

Best of all, whilst this would typically cost £29pp, we've managed to secure an incredible discount - so the whole night is just £18.95!

WHERE/WHEN

We will be starting the evening at The Wellington at 6:15pm to give you a chance to meet and with your fellow 20s and 30s.

However we'd kindly ask you arrive no later than 6:35pm, so that we can head over to the venue together and get checked in, ahead of the experience.

On Friday 17th October, we’re excited to launch our weekend of social fun with something a little different… our first ever Ceilidh night!

To start the night, we'll be heading to a pub in Camden to give you chance to grab a drink and get to know some of our community a little better, before heading over together for the main event a short walk away.

If you’ve never done a Ceilidh before, it’s a traditional Scottish social dance with lively folk music, and plenty of spinning, swapping partners, and laughing as you go.

You’ll follow simple steps guided by an expert caller who’ll keep things light, energetic, and totally beginner-friendly.

And it's not only a brilliant way to shake off the work week, try something completely different and meet lots of friendly new faces, but it also burns as many calories as a full-on gym session!

And once the dancing wraps up, there’ll be time to cool off, share experience and grab a drink with your new friends.

This should be a great high-energy evening of social fun and best of all, whilst Ceilidhs can cost over £25 in the city, we've managed to secure an incredible discount - so the whole night is just £6.35pp!

WHERE/WHEN

To start the event, we will be meeting at a pub for social drinks from 6:45pm.

However, we'd ask you arrive no later than 7:15pm, so that we can head over to the venue together in time for the start of the night.

Autumn is now well and truly here and to make the most of the amazing colours of the season, we've got your Sunday sorted with our latest Social Walk and Pub trip!

Yep that's right, we'll be dusting off our hiking boots again for one of our favourite social walk routes through all three Royal Parks, Hyde Park, Green Park and St James Park.

The event will start out by the Kensington Gardens Bandstand in Hyde Park and to kick things off - you'll be allocated a group/team for an initial mix of fun ice breaker games.

These are designed to get people talking and help you to get to know some of the other participants on the walk a little better.

We’ll then set off on our 2-3 hour walk across London, flying past some of the most famous landmarks and sights of London, like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament.

Best of all, when we make it to the pub, we'll then be dusting off our large collection of Board Games for you to enjoy.

From classics like Exploding Kittens, social deduction games like Secret Hitler and Werewolf, to party games like Codenames and Scrawl - we've got a range of great games to keep the fun going with your new friends.

As always, owing to the size of the venue, we will be having to cap numbers for this event and so do make sure you nab your place as soon as you can!

WHERE/WHEN WE WILL MEET

We don’t do boring Wednesdays and so this week, we’re hugely excited to be hosting our latest sports & fitness social to spice up your midweek.

Yep that’s right - for this latest social, we’re excited to be heading back to Rise Climbing, near Canning Town for our latest Social Bouldering Night, exclusively for 20s and 30s.

If you’ve never been bouldering before, it’s perhaps the most social form of free climbing and one of the fastest growing sports in the world.

Unlike other forms of rock climbing, bouldering is free from ropes and harnesses and instead offers soft, safety mats and low walls to encourage climbers to explore their physical limits in a safe environment.

But it’s not just a great work out for your body, the venue offers a range of wall challenges of varying design and difficulty that will test your problem solving skills, as well as your creativity, technique and balance.

And it is the challenge element that makes bouldering one of the social sports around at present, as it is great spark for conversation in your shared attempts to take on the range of climbing routes on together.

Best of all, we’ve been able to organise this bouldering session, along with shoe hire and a free induction, all for just 10.95pp!

And after the bouldering, they'll be an option to head to a nearby pub so you can get a drink, share experience and get to know your fellow climbers a little better.

It should be a really enjoyable night and we'd love to see lots of you there but sadly, these places are very limited and so we will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
