Western society ignored simple, traditional healthy habits for decades - only to rebrand wellness into an expensive social media trend and status symbol. Is this a genuine wake-up call to fix our broken habits, or just sheep behavior driven by algorithm-backed information overload? Are we finally taking our health seriously, or just victims of the latest trends? We'll discuss, for example...

2. Why did we spend decades choosing unhealthy convenience even if the basic secrets to a long life were always public knowledge?

• 19:30 – 20:00 | The Warm Up: Arrive, grab a cocktail, and chat casually as everyone settles into the lounge..
• 20:00 – 21:30 | The Discussion Circles: We move into our hosted conversation circles. We shuffle groups so you meet new faces.
• 21:30 – Late | The After-Chat: Shift to casual socializing. The lounge bar stays open late for socialising and drinks.

1. Curiosity over judgement: We're here to explore how different people think. Listen, ask questions, learn from each other. Every view is a puzzle and we want to understand all angles without judging the people who bring them.
2. Respect the mic: This is a shared space, not a soapboxing stage. Give everyone a chance to speak.
3. Don't take it personally: We can explore different views while remaining completely kind and respectful to the people sharing them.
4. Be Present: We put our phones away during the conversation to truly connect with the people around us.

• Entry: Free entry. Kindly support the venue by ordering drinks or snacks at the bar throughout your stay.
• Dress Code: Smart/City Casual
• Transport: Aldgate East, Aldgate, Tower Hill/Gateway stations are all within a 5-minute walk.

Welcome to our casual discussion lounge to make new friends while exploring meaningful topics! Skip the small talk, learn and share fascinating perspectives. No strict schedule: join anytime, move between different "topic tables", exchange views naturally, and meet an open-minded crowd!

What to expect
We'll have different tables discussing different topics, plus an open space to just mingle - you can switch tables anytime. Example topics this session (may change depending on turnout and group preferences):

• ❤️ Table 1 - (Over)intentional Dating. Are people treating dating like job interviews (or performance reviews), over-engineering and hyper-optimizing the choices, the conversations, the entire cycle? What about simply going with the flow?
• ⚖️ Table 2 - Peace vs Justice. Are stability and harmony in a country (or region) more important than treating everyone equally and fairly? Even if this means some are much better/worse off?
• 🌍 Table 3 - AI Slop in everyday life. Does it feel like everything is AI-generated and nobody does things by themselves anymore?
• ✨ Table 4/Standing - Casual mixing

• 🗣️ Free Table Movement: We have different tables set up, each featuring a unique topic. You are in complete control—you can freely circulate and change tables whenever you want.
• 🍷 Focus on Connection: No expert knowledge or perfect English is required. Come to share your personal philosophies and lived experiences rather than rigid point-scoring.
• 🌟 Newcomer Friendly: We designed this specific night to make it incredibly easy to pull up a chair, join a small group conversation, and meet new people instantly.

• 19:30 – 21:30 | The Hot Takes: We move into our casual conversation circles. You can rotate groups so you meet everyone.
• 21:30 – Late | The After-chat + After-party: The bar stays open for late-night mingling and drinks, and we later continue to our favourite after-party places.
