The Hike & Bike supports the Al Forthan Memorial Scholarship, helping students that come from families impacted by addiction. Oregonian columnist Steve Duin called this "Oregon's most impactful scholarship." This is a wonderful, well-organized ride supporting a great cause. The event consists of a hike OR bike with a barbecue at the top of Larch Mountain. To participate, choose which way to the top you will take (hike or bike). All participants must raise or donate a minimum of $50 by August 2nd.
To register you can pay or fundraise $50 and choose which way you want to participate: hike, bike, or drive: https://2025hikenbike.funraise.org/
