The Vegans of LA Foodbank needs volunteers to help distribute food on this day. We are manadated by the LA county health dept to wear masks.

Please arrive no later than 7:45am so that we can start on time and get our community back home and safe. You will be standing the entire time and directly interacting with over 300 individuals outside in a semi-fast paced but friendly environment.

Have you ever tried tapping to reduce stress and anxiety? EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques, combines focused thoughts and affirmations with gentle tapping on specific acupressure points to help release emotional stress and energetic blockages. Join our gathering to relieve stress, increase joy, and connect with like-minded souls!

Lindsey Baker is a plant-based wellness creator, media host, animal advocate, and longtime student of spiritual practices, including meditation, yoga, and EFT tapping. In this demonstration, Lindsey explains how tapping works, shows the primary tapping points, and guides participants through a simple tapping exercise. Everyone will leave with a practical technique they can continue using daily on their own!

We're gathering indoors at a private home with plenty of free street parking.

Potluck:
For the potluck, bring a vegan (plant-based raw and cooked foods, no animal products of any kind) potluck dish to share, your own plate/cup/utensils, and an open heart. We will have extra plates and utensils on hand. Be mindful to bring a dish versus a snack or drink so we have plenty of food for everyone.

We welcome everyone, whether you're vegan or not.

In the spirit of compassion ​and to honor animals, we request that all food is vegan and all clothing ​is free of animal products. For food, that means no flesh, dairy, eggs, or honey in food. For clothes, that means no down​, fur​, wool​, or leather​. Please share your delicious vegan ​dishes and favorite vegan clothes with us!
