About us
We’re the St. Louis Urbanists, a grassroots advocacy group working to create safer and more effective infrastructure for pedestrians, bicycle users, transit riders, and even car drivers in the St. Louis region. Our movement aims to promote better urban design through education, organization, and engagement at every level.
We hope to create a community for like-minded individuals to hang out and discuss transportation, urban design, local politics, and other similar topics. You can join us at our online Discord server, where we share tactical wins, post resources, and discuss local issues.
Our main in-person meetups are on the 2nd Thursday of every month. These meetings are open to all. The first half of these meetings is formal discussion of our organization and project updates, and the second half is social.
In addition, we have a number of recurring meetups, such as Social Bike Rides, Urbanist Book Club, and Bus Bike Brunch. We're always coming up with new meetup ideas, and let us know if you have an idea of your own!

St. Louis Style Guided Food Tour
Shrewsbury Metrolink Station, 7201 Lansdowne Ave, Saint Louis, MO, USJoin the Urbanists as we take you on a guided (bus) tour across the city to sample some classic St. Louis cuisine!

How to arrive
We will meet at the Shrewsbury Metrolink Station at 11:15am. Make sure to get here on time, since our bus leaves sharply at 11:24am!
Free parking is available. Transit connections are available on the Blue Line and Bus Routes #9, #11, #16, #21, #30. The station is accessible by bike on the River des Peres Greenway.
Tour Logistics
We will be guiding everyone around to the different restaurants via public transit! We will show you how to buy a $5 bus day pass if you don't have one already.
The official tour will return back to the start location around 3:30 or 4pm. If you need to get back earlier and can't make it to all the locations, that's okay as well, Shrewsbury is easily accessible from each of the locations we'll be visiting and we can provide instructions if necessary.

STL Urbanists Monthly Meetup
