STG Social Hikes

4.0 mile, out and back, 265' gain.

it will probably be raining. plan for it. hopefully we will see the famous waterfalls from the high kayenta cliffs. we will stay out of the rugged wash on a side trail most all the way. we may not go all the way in, depending on the conditions and how we are feeling, but this chance to capture the elusive waterfalls is rare enough that i’m willing to hike in the rain….

Halloween costumes are optional.

I will wait until five minutes after, if not everyone is present. After that you will need to catch up. All times listed are utah time, MDT. Sorry, but STG social hikes are not dog friendly. Come enjoy some exercise and good conversation on the trail!

SG Socials, Let's hike the maze
This is a 2.6 mile FUN hike with 440' of climbing. It is a moderate hike that will be at a moderate pace. There will be some fun scrambling with a couple places that a little assistance may be needed. We will stay together so as to avoid confusion in "The Maze".
We will carpool from the parking lot at the top ofSnow Canyon Drive and SR 18.
