VOLUNTEERS WANTED to Host a Special Event Day @ WisePlace Women's Services

So Many Women...So Little Time is hosting a special pre-Mother's Day event for the women who are part of WisePlace solo women's services program. This day is for anyone that is a mother, has a mother or once had one! I guess that covers it!

We need 15 volunteers so if you are interested, I ask that you read all the way to the bottom and RSVP according to the instructions. You will need a ticket if you plan to eat lunch, sponsor a woman's lunch or make a donation. CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS

# WISEPlace – Ending Homelessness for Women in Orange County with Housing, Counseling, Mental Health, and Recovery Support

WISEPlace is the only Orange County-based nonprofit leading the effort to end homelessness for unaccompanied individuals. We provide the most vulnerable in our community with safe shelter, counseling and mental health services, case management and addiction recovery, and employment assistance to help rebuild their lives.

At WISEPlace, the people they serve often lack the support system of a spouse, significant other, or children. Nearly a quarter are disabled, every single one has experienced domestic violence, and all have incomes well below the poverty line. These and other factors put those we serve at a greater risk of becoming homeless.

**We will be providing set-up, clean-up, purchasing and serving lunch and hosting two events. The first is a sound bath provided by my friend, Daisy and the second is CIRCLES: Small Group Sharing which is my personal favorite and I will be leading this. You can participate if you like. It promotes engagement and new friendships.

**Will you volunteer with us for the day? We are looking for 15 members to collaborate to make this event amazing. If you are in, please RSVP here. If you want to eat lunch with us (optional) , I am asking that you purchase a lunch ticket for $18 (since this is a charitable event).

PLEASE, be responsible with your RSVP. We are managing this event so it is important that we have enough volunteers!

FUNDRAISER: I am posting a variety of tickets for either buying your own lunch ($18), buying someone else's lunch ($18 and however many you like) and also a blanket donation towards the event in increments of $25 (as much as you like). We need to collect about $600 so we can provide a nice lunch for all of the women and staff as well.

Each time I have participated, I have had a wonderful experience and really felt that I was making a meaningful contribution of time, service, presence and love. Believe me, those things alone can make a HUGE impact.
