Code for Houston

Code for Houston is an official Code for America Brigade chapter, part of a national network of people-centered problem solvers working to improve government, increase tech empowerment, and inspire civic and community engagement in meaningful ways. We host the annual City of Houston Hackathon, monthly Open Project Nights, Climathon Houston, and other impact + innovation events throughout the year.

We're currently looking for a couple more folks to help lead our Brigade. It's a volunteer role that connects you with the national Code for America network. You would help cultivate this community, define areas of focus, and shape the future of this group.
