**Kong Konnect Hands-On Labs**

Kong Konnect is a Service Connectivity platform that provides technology teams the “architectural freedom” to build APIs and services anywhere. Kong Konnect supports the full lifecycle of service management, enabling users to easily design, test, secure, deploy, monitor, monetise, and version their APIs.

In this Hands-On workshop, we will demonstrate the ways Konnect can help your organisation adopt a federated API management model throughout their lifecycle, and show how the API Gateway pattern can be used for modernisation. You will learn to navigate and work with the Kong Konnect UI, proxy traffic to backend services, apply traffic policies and secure access to APIs. In addition you will learn how to package APIs as products, and publish them on the Developer Portal.

**Meetup on AI Gateway**
With the rapid emergence of multiple AI LLM providers (including open source and self-hosted models), the AI technology landscape is fragmented and lacking in standards and controls. Kong Gateway’s broad API management capabilities and plugin extensibility model make it well suited to provide AI-specific API management and governance services. Join this session to get an introduction to the new AI specific capabilities in the Kong platform then after join us for a networking session.
