Demonstration Against the Pacific Justice Institute and Focus on the Family

On April 2nd, 2011 the Disney Grand Californian Hotel will open its doors to the Anti gay Pacific Justice Institute and Focus on the Family. The Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) supported Prop 8, and purports to uphold family values while actually propagating hateful messages that affect the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) community.

The keynote speakers will be Michelle Bachman and Dick Morris--Two people notorious for their antigay rhetoric. For more information on the Gala honoring these two homophobes please see below.

We are disappointed as Disney Parks and Resorts have consistently striven to provide great experiences for families. They have traditionally welcomed gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people and their families.
The Pacific Justice Institute and Focus on the Family have a proven track record of opposing equality and justice for all families and LGBT people.

Therefore, hosting a Pacific Justice Institute and Focus on the Family event contradicts and calls into question Disney's ongoing commitment to creating positive experiences for families and inclusion of LGBT people.
We will respectfully demonstrate against these two organizations that have been a source of great pain to all LGBT Families.

Our messages will show the Pacific Justice Institute and Focus on the Family our values as a community united against discrimination and working for Equality.
