Bardo Retreat
Mipham Shedra, 8200 W. 106th Avenue, Westminster, CO, USTashi Delek Friends, Supporters, and Sangha
At the request of our Sangha, Mipham Shedra's resident teacher Lhoppön Rechungpa Rinpoche will lead this year's Bardo Retreat on June 5th, 6th, and 7th (9 am to 4 pm MST each day). You are warmly invited to join us for these profound and beautiful teachings.
According to Rinpoche:
"Generally, the Bardo retreat is very important. This is the best gift one can give to one’s self and to your family, friends, and your pets- and anyone who is important in your life.
We are all practicing Buddhism, and also Vajrayana Buddhism. In this coming three day retreat, Rinpoche will essentialize the practices needed to prepare you for your own death- which will come eventually, sooner or later. This wisdom will also help you offer this service for your family and friends when they need your help.
This Bardo retreat is going to be very, very beneficial for the Guhyagarbha Tantra students. The Bardo teachings are also Mahayoga Tantra teachings. So this retreat will explain precisely about the 100 Deities, which is based on how our own mind, body and phenomena will be reflecting to us during the Bardo.
These teachings are important to everyone, and specifically for Guhyagarbha Tantra students, it will be very important and beneficial."
