Vinyasa based class focused on breathwork, body alignment and asanas to boost our essential mind/body connection. This inclusive class allows you to calm the mind and focus on the strength of your breath and body, moving from an opening meditation and warm up, building into a flow and deeper into specific asanas completing with total relaxation. Great class for all levels from beginner to advanced.
Kirstin received her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification at Zuna Yoga in Bali, Indonesia. She has been practicing yoga since 2004 and has learned the importance of yoga in cultivating balance, strength, and overall well-being. She loves sharing her knowledge and practice with others, especially those who are new to yoga. Kirstin loves teaching the Heal One World community and empowering her students to achieve their own greatness.

Teacher Bio:
I am a registered 500-hour yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and I completed my 200-hour in-person yoga teacher training at the University of Utah, and 300-hour online training with Vinyasa Yoga Academy/World Peace Yoga School in Rishikesh, India. I currently teach gentle flow, and vinyasa style, but I have also previously taught chair yoga. I first started practicing in 2015 with curiosity and to better cope with stress during my freshman year in college. Based on my personal experience, I learned how yoga and mindfulness play a huge role in feeling grounded and anchored in my life. Yoga has helped me navigate through my life as I found a way to cope with uncertainty and anxiety. All levels are welcome to join my classes, and I hope to see you on the mat!

In this all-levels, 45-minute class we will use the finer points of each pose and the transitions between those poses to create space in our bodies and as opportunities for focus and mindfulness. Somewhere between a restorative practice and a fast-moving flow, this class will
incorporate standing poses, balancing, and short sequences but will be rooted in seated and reclined poses, breath awareness, and guided meditation.Heal One World is a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic preventative healthcare services and low or no cost—no one is turned away due to lack of funds. Class Description:
This is a thorough class that is open to anyone who already practices yoga. The aim is practice and refinement rather than perfection and ''you are expected to challenge yourself''. The sequence starts with the meridian stretches, arms, side body, front and back body, followed by a rigorous vinyasa flow. There are several opportunities for inversions, and there is time to explore traditional postures or variations of postures that are already within your practice.Teacher Bio:
I am a 300-hour plus yoga teacher with a personal practice for several years. I have traveled and practiced in different cultures and languages. My teaching method draws upon various aspects; I teach Meridian Yoga Therapy, a therapeutic hatha-based sequence, that offers students the opportunity to embody the meridians and learn self-acupressure points within a traditional asana practice.Heal One World is a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic preventative healthcare services and low or no cost—no one is turned away due to lack of funds.
