> Teacher Bio
I am a Software Professional and a certified yoga teacher. I was fortunate to get introduced to yoga when I was 12 years old back in India and I got my first certification in Hatha yoga in 2012. After moving to the United States in 2015, I got introduced to Vinyasa yoga. Given the sedentary nature of my desk job, I found the dynamic aspect of vinyasa energizing. It strengthened my overall yoga practice which inspired me to get certified in Power Yoga(Vinyasa flow) from Corepower yoga in 2023.
Apart from the asana portion of yoga, I have a deep interest in the philosophical and spiritual aspect of it. Being a long time student and practitioner of ashtanga yoga philosophy, I have immensely benefited from it. It is my earnest desire to share this wealth of knowledge for the well-being of others.> Class Description
This class is a vinyasa flow that keeps you moving sequentially from pose to pose in sync with breath. It will be of low to moderate level intensity. Variations will be offered for most of the poses.
Flow contains:- Upward/Downward facing Dog
- Warrior variations
- Triangle pose variations
- Plank variations
- Extended child pose
- Cool-down routine
- Sitting meditation
- Savasana - Resting pose

In my 60-minute yoga sessions, I go through an asana flow, inviting you to explore the physical postures that harmonize body and mind. We will also delve into the transformative power of pranayama, as we balance your system through the rhythmic breathing. Beyond the mat, I guide you through the serene realms of meditation, unveiling various techniques to cultivate focus and inner peace.
My mission extends beyond the physical practice; it's about guiding you on a personal odyssey into the profound realms of yoga. I am here to inspire, support, and accompany you on your unique path to self-discovery and well-being.
Join me on the mat, where each breath is a step towards balance, and every posture is a celebration of your journey.Teacher Bio:
With a decade of personal yoga practice and dedication, I am Rasika, your guide on the path to holistic well-being. My transformative yoga journey began when I found inspiration in a volunteer-based class a few years ago, igniting a profound desire to share the gift of yoga with others.
Fueled by this passion, I embarked on a transformative trip to India, immersing myself in the birthplace of yoga. There, I dedicated a few months to deepening my practice, honing my skills, and laying the foundation for my teaching journey.Heal One World is a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic preventative healthcare services and low or no cost—no one is turned away due to lack of funds. Vinyasa based class focused on breath work, body alignment and asanas to boost our essential mind/body connection. This inclusive class allows you to calm the mind and focus on the strength of your breath and body, moving from an opening meditation and warm up, building into a flow and deeper into specific asanas completing with total relaxation. Great class for all levels from beginner to advanced.
