What we’re about
Thank you for checking out our group. Active Singles Adventures has been in Los Angeles for 35 years now. We used to be Athletic Singles Association but changed our name so as not to intimidate anyone (and because a person didn't need to be "athletic" to enjoy our group). But we are still "ASA" .
We continue to organize interesting social and active events so you can come out and meet our travelers and consider coming on one of our trips which we run as Singles in Paradise.

Our typical trip consists of 40 singles. We recently traveled to Peru, Kenya, China, Costa Rica, Tahiti, Panama, Belize, Honduras, Greece, Amsterdam, Belgium, Ireland, Galapagos and other exotic destinations - all with experienced guides and terrific group rates.
Meet fellow adventurous singles near you! Come to our Meetup to meet us, share stories and get first-hand recommendations on new exotic destinations. Find fun, laughs and maybe even a new travel buddy!
Check out http://www.singlesinparadise.com for all the details on our trips.

and 6-nights on Mololo Island
Our 5th time for this trip!
2-islands with air and great hotels for 10 Days, 9 Nights just $4,150
Includes daily breakfast and all inclusive meals for 6 nights
30 people already signed up!The Fiji Islands in the South Pacific are an archipelago of over 333 islands packed with attractions that can be found no where else. Fiji has an unspoiled, unique environment of extreme beauty and tranquility. Adrift for millennia in splendid isolation in the blue of the South Pacific it has escaped the evils of industrial progress. They are absolutely beautiful and offer plenty of activities and world class diving and snorkeling. This will be our 4th trip to Fiji and they keep getting better.
We will fly direct on Fiji Airways from LAX departing the evening of Tuesday, July 8th and arriving very early on Thursday (you lose Wednesday due to the time zone) giving us a full 10-days! We spend 3-nights on the mainland of Viti Levu at Denarau Island followed by 6-nights on Mololo Island (AKA Plantation Island). It's a perfect mix with a reasonable flight time and great accommodations.
Located in Nadi, Denarau Island is also a harbor that's very convenient for all of our tours, dining and nightlife. There are several amazing adventure tours in the jungle including 4x4 and jet boating, hiking to a great mud pool, cave and village and even zip lining. If you're anxious to scuba, then you can also arrange that while we're here in Denarau. On these mainland tours we will visit remote villlages to meet the natives which makes for a very cool experience as the Fijians are the warmest people you will ever find. On our tours you will learn about their culture, ceremonies and beliefs. They will make us feel welcome with their kava ceremonies.
We have some awesome tours set up for our 2 other free days on the mainland including a really cool hike with mud pools and a beautiful waterfall and the Saigatoka River tour with 4x4's, jet boating and a village and cave tour. You can also opt for zip lining. READ MORE ABOUT THE TOURS HERE (from 2018)
After our 3-days on the mainland we then ferry out to Malolo Island for our stay at Musket Cove resort. We have been to this island several times now and every group has loved it. Once again we will be staying at the fabulous Musket Island Resort. This amazing property is nestled on the 553 acre island of Malolo LaiLai, part of the Mamanuca Group of islands and is just 10 miles offshore. Malolo is renowned for its pristine white sandy beaches and crystal blue waters. The snorkeling and diving in this area is off the charts - equal to, if not better than Australia's Great Barrier Reef.
Besides snorkeling and diving, other activities include golfing, massage and even surfing. We will also offer an optional full day private island hopping tour that will take us to several idyllic, very picturesque islands. There's even a really fun tour we added last year to this awesome party-type barge called Cloud Nine sounded with a beautiful reef and now a second party barge called Seventh Heaven. Our last group really loved it.

- AMALFI COAST AND CAPRI SINGLES VACATIONNeeds location
Sorrento, Capri, and Naples
October 15th (departure from US) - 26th
10-Nights hotel (double occupancy), breakfast, transfers and 4 tours - Just $2,950 - Land Only*We will depart the US on October 15th and arrive in Naples the next day. We start this tour off with 5 relaxing nights in Sorrento. This trip will offer plenty of time to explore in smaller groups and at your own pace.
Our first stop is Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast. Sorrento has no major tourist attractions per se, only the town itself with its enchanting palazzi and charming historic quarter. Set high atop a bluff on the peninsula it has a stunning view of the Bay of Naples. There are fabulous restaurants and nightlife as well as charming streets where you can shop and browse. Its streets seem like 19th-century sepia photographs with ruins of the Roman Empire strewn about and Vesuvius looming in the distance. As a hub for a banquet of must-see sites - Pompeii and Naples to the north and Amalfi Coast to the south - Sorrento is unequaled. The Sorrento peninsula also offers the best beaches and restaurants.
We'll have 5 full days to enjoy included and optional tours to many of the beautiful and historic places such as Pompeii and Herculaneum, the most completely preserved cities of classical antiquity. One of the included tours will be hired vans for a full day tour of the Amalfi Coast. This will make it easy for us to visit some of the other quaint villages nestled in the hillsides along the Amalfi coast at our own pace. It's a spectacular ride that takes you along the sea as the road wiggles in and out hundreds of feet above the water. This road was completed in 1852 and is a seemingly improbably engineering feat. Gorgeous vistas appear along these almost 25 miles stretching from Sorrento to Vietri. Some of the notable towns on the drive include the nearby Positano, that's built like a steep amphitheater this town's only job is to look enchanting. Offering a dazzling layer cake of civilizations this medieval city is so picturesque it will practically click your camera for you. I almost booked our group to stay here rather than Sorrento but there isn't enough to do and Sorrento was much more convenient. Vettica Maggiore with it's priceless panorama from the seaside piazza and church; Conca Dei Marini, retreat of the rich and famous with its villas and churches; Atrani, lined with piggy-backed houses and corkscrew staircases this medieval town revolves around a picture-perfect piazza; Amalfi, the largest town and must-do because of its spectacular cathedral and impossibly romantic souk-like streets; and Cetara with it's waterfront cafes. Is your mouth watering? Mine was when I looked at those images. Unbelievably scenic.
Another included tour will include wonderful day tour out to the island of Procida. Then, one of the optional tours you may be interested in would be to see the Amalfi Coast by sea. In the past we've hired beautiful wooden boats to take us for the day. This might be best set up while we're there however to make sure the sea is calm.
After our 5-nights in this fascinating city we will hop aboard a ferry that will whisk us off to the enchanting island of Capri where we will spend the next 4-nights. Capri is a balmy and palmy never-never land that has been the darling of tourism for 2,500 years. It's incomparable views and natural wonders - I Faraglioni and the Blue Grotto are just two of the not-to-be-missed sites on this fabled isle. With 3 full days here we'll have ample time to enjoy everything that this charming island has to offer. The town itself is a Moorish stage set of sparkling white houses, tiny squares, and narrow medieval alleyways hung with flowers, while it's hillsides are spectacular settings for luxurious seaside villas.
Our hotel is right in the center of Capri Town giving us full access to the shopping and amazing restaurants on the hill. Another included tour will be a complete tour of Capri including a visit to the famous Blue Groto,(weather permitting) We will also enjoy some great down time here where you might enjoy strolling the town.
Finally, we're capping off our trip with 1 night in Naples where we will offer an optional visit to Pompeii and take in this very historic city.
Includes:
- 10 nights hotel accommodations (double occp.)
- Round trip boat to Capri
- Daily breakfast
- Chartered bus ground transportation
- 1 guided tour in Capri
- Van tour for Amalfi Coast
- Tour of Procida
- Full day tour of Capri
Not Included:
- Optional Tours
