Living Earth is an open circle of individuals and families in the south Denver area of Colorado. We share philosophies and practices of Earth-based spirituality and Earth consciousness. We celebrate the seasons, and grow together in a supportive, egalitarian environment. The vast majority of our events are designed to be family-friendly, although many of our members do not have children. We are welcoming and inclusive of all! We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and a church (reclaiming that word!) for people who enjoy a very different embodiment of what a church can be.
As you may know Living Earth also offers a private ritual group experience by invitation. About half our events are published in this meetup group and open to the public, and the other half are invitation-only for this private ritual group. Dark Moon Ritual - Online
·OnlineOnlineThe dark moon or new moon is a good time for personal work. This ritual will follow the Living Earth online ritual format. Jo Butler will lead this Dark Moon online ritual.
This simple online ritual is in honor of spring cleaning. Our spring cleaning will be inner work. We will remove the unwanted and unnecessary and make room for new ideas or projects. This is a guided meditation and may be used in an ongoing practice. If possible have a candle to light for your work.
Jo Butler has more than 50 years of experience in ritual. The emphasis will be on a safe and pleasant meditation.
All adults are welcome. Prior experience with meditation is recommended.
The Zoom link will be visible after you send your RSVP in Meetup. The waiting room will be open a few minutes before 7:00PM. The meeting will be locked at 7:05PM. Full Moon Ritual - Cornerstones of Community series
605 Newton St, Denver, CO, USLiving Earth is launching a Full Moon Ritual series exploring our six Cornerstones of Community Open to beginners and long-time community members alike, our third ritual will explore Thinking Well of Others, and how this shows up in our personal lives and in our wider community.
We will be leaning into the attributes of water, with it's connotations of emotional connection, and making Moon Water for our main working. All materials will be provided.
Plan to join us at the Living Earth house! We will be meeting in the Sanctuary behind the house; please head through the gate and come find us around back.
