### 🎤 First Talk – 19:00
Title: Gradle: From "It Works" to "I Understand It"
Speaker: André Martins
Summary:
"Gradle is flexible enough to let you do anything — including shooting yourself in the foot. In this talk, I’ll share how I approach Gradle with Kotlin DSL after years of building and maintaining Java and Kotlin projects. We’ll cover the core mechanics of Gradle, common pitfalls, and proven patterns for both single-module builds and large monorepos. I’ll also introduce a custom Gradle init setup that I use to bootstrap new projects with clean structure, shared conventions, and performance-aware defaults — so you can spend less time fighting your build and more time shipping code."

### 🎤 Second Talk – 20:00
Title: Resilience Patterns in Distributed Systems
Speaker: Henrick Kakutalua
Summary:
"Distributed systems are hard, systems have to guarantee correctness even when running on an unreliable environment. In this talk we will examine in a practical way patterns and approaches of resilience used on backend systems that can cope under faults and load. From simple approaches like retries, idempotence, and circuit breakers, to more complex ones like the saga pattern."
