This month, we'll look at Internationalization (i18n) in JavaScript projects. After a brief review of the concepts, we'll turn our attention to the nuts and bolts of making an app that supports multiple languages and locales, making text, numbers, and dates appear the way users expect to see them in their region. We'll see how some tools in the JavaScript ecosystem can help us with i18n without needing to learn the languages of our users. As always, participation is welcome and encouraged if you have experience internationalizing apps.
If you are not building an app that requires Internationalization, we are also planning some discussion around designing projects with different data types and formats, sharing some lessons from previous projects.
Our sincere thanks to both Vehikl and JetBrains for sponsoring the event. As always, we'll conclude the evening with our monthly draw for a JetBrains license.
We hope you’ll join us on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The event starts at 6:45 PM, with doors opening at 6:30. We look forward to seeing you there.
