PHOEBE SHAW - Lead Character TD at Mighty Kingdom
LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/phoebe-shaw-td/
After completing an Advanced Diploma, Screen and Media in 2016, Phoebe was immediately recruited to AIE as a lecturer before moving to world class Visual Effects studio Rising Sun Pictures as part of its Creatures department working on films which included Thor: Ragnorak. However, with Phoebe’s love of games, it wasn’t long before she decided to make the move and join Mighty Kingdom.
Since moving to MK in 2017, Phoebe has brought her knowledge of high end VFX pipeline to game development by implementing a proprietary, data centric pipeline for 3D content creation. Phoebe’s impact on rigging and tools was immediate. Developing more and more efficient pipelines, as well as setting the standard for character rigging have been hallmarks of her technical skill set.
Phoebe has always been an advocate for diversity both within Mighty Kingdom and the broader industry. Phoebe has and continues to act as a mentor for several programs including The Working Lunch and Mighty Kingdom's graduate program, which she is a key contributor to the development of, and a significant voice in improving communication, learning and feedback within Mighty Kingdom.
