👥 DCIC IS: A community-building project for BIPOC and multiracial donor-conceived people (DCP), est. fall 2025.* Website coming soon! We welcome DCP globally, while our goals focus on change in the US:

1. Build a social network for lifelong support (including a mutual aid fund)
2. Grow our lived experiences into a virtual resource library & "directory of voices"
3. Connect DCP storytellers to nuanced, humanizing research, media, & advocacy projects
4. Spark conversations about norms & systems that affect BIPOC/multiracial DCP, recipient parents, donors, and all our relations
5. Drive systemic change among professionals & institutions so that the US family-building field treats effects of donor conception as lifelong, holistic, & intergenerational

👋🏼 ABOUT THE ORGANIZER: I (Max Tang) am a biracial, Chinese American DCP and licensed social worker. Since 2021, in the US, I've piloted virtual peer support groups for queer, disabled, and BIPOC/multiracial DCP; created printable resources for all DCP; and educated professionals about our communities.

👥 BUILD COMMUNITY WITH US: Every month, I (Max) will host a free virtual hang out. Our Zoom calls are casual, come-and-go, and don't have to revolve around donor conception topics.

Donor conception + race and ethnicity = complicated. Don't go it alone. Chat about anything, join a game/movie/craft day, and find others to lean on as we go through our lives as DCP.
