This is the official Serbian C++ user group whose purpose is to support Serbian C++ software developer community and promote the use of modern Standard C++.
The user group provides an opportunity for developers to meet and exchange ideas and experiences about C++. It's open for anybody who wants to learn about native programming and why it's fun, everybody who knows C++ or is interested in learning it.

Damir will give a practical example of using coroutines in socket-based communication.

We will redesign the receiver component, common for both endpoints, for handling the data exchange. We will start with a naïve approach – trying directly to replace existing code with a coroutine and explaining why this is an antipattern. Then we will redesign the receiver to be coroutines “friendly” and how we can reimplement the Server and Client components – to handle multiple connections within a single thread, instead of having one receiver thread per connection.

We will also explore how we can employ custom allocators to override the coroutine default allocation strategy – allocation on the heap. I’ll describe the implementation, starting with the fixed-size stack allocator – with internal memory storage on the stack, and how to build the pool of fixed-size allocators of different sizes on top of it. We will wrap this implementation into std::pmr::memory_resource interface to have a polymorphic, type-erased allocator that can be used along with std::pmr containers. We will use it to override the coroutine default allocation strategy, allocating memory primarily on the stack, with a fallback strategy – allocating on the heap, only when the capacity of the internal stack storage is exhausted.

## About the Documentary

Produced by CultRepo, this feature-length documentary explores the 40-year history of C++. It covers everything from its humble beginnings at Bell Labs to its standardization, the "C++ winter" of the early 2000s, and its massive revival and modernization with C++11.

The film features exclusive interviews with the engineers, standards contributors, and industry pioneers who shaped the language, including:
- Bjarne Stroustrup: Designer and original implementer of C++.
- Brian Kernighan: Bell Labs Computer Scientist and co-author of The C Programming Language.
- Alexander Stepanov: Designer of the Standard Template Library (STL) and generic programming pioneer.
- Chris Lattner: Creator of LLVM, Clang, and Swift.
- Anders Hejlsberg: Creator of C#, TypeScript, and Turbo Pascal and chief architect of Delphi.
- Herb Sutter: Chair Emeritus of the ISO C++ committee

### How to get there:

Head to the Avala Film complex on Kneza Višeslava. Once you pass through the main entrance of the complex, go straight, passing the ramp until you reach the end of the road, the building will be on your right. The Inceptive office is located on the ground floor, door on the left.

Parking: If you are driving, there is parking available directly on-site within the Avala Film complex, and outside the complex.
Public transport: You can take 23 and 53 bus or the E2 shuttle bus.
