What we’re about
Welcome to the new "Cheeky Singles of the DMV"! This group is perfect for single and lonely individuals looking to meet new people and have a great time. Our events cater to singles 35 and up, both men and women, who are interested in building new relationships and connections. Whether you're looking for companionship, friendship, or even love, our group provides a fun and inclusive environment for you to connect with like-minded individuals. Join us for exciting meetups, group outings, and social gatherings where you can let your hair down and enjoy the company of other "cheeky singles" in the DMV area.
We Are:
Cheeky - Impudent, or irreverent, typically in an endearing or amusing way
Single - Not in a committed relationship
DMV - From DC, Maryland and Virginia
Let it be clearly stated...you will be removed if you disrespect ANYONE, or if you have more than 3 No-Shows, or do not fit into our kind and welcoming group.

Chili Cook-Off FUNDRAISER & RAFFLE (Burke)
Location not specified yetYou are invited to a chili cook-off and raffle to benefit FEEDING AMERICA! When we did this in 2023, we were able to raise $452.25 and it was so much fun. Sadly, there are many more people who are facing hunger now, so our donations are even more important. Let's open our hearts, and our wallets to help those who are in need.
This year we will be adding a raffle! If there are items around your home that you'd like to donate, let me know. These can be homemade new or used in good or excellent condition. You set the starting price.
Here is how it works:
- We will need six people to enter the contest with their very best large crock-pot of chili. Any type of chili you want to bring is fine. Be creative! You will not need to pay the entrance fee if you donate.
2. There is a $20 per person entrance fee, payable in advance to Susan through Zelle (240 446-8744 ), or Venmo (@Susan-Timm-11).
This fee will include a tasting of all the chili, voting on your favorite chili, and having a bowl of your favorite chili with cornbread and a drink.
3. You will vote for your favorite chili by donating a $1 in a cup located in front of your favorite chili, voting as many times as you wish for each $1. So bring lots of $1 dollar bills!
4. We will auction off all the remaining chili by the end of the day.
PLEASE BRING CASH FOR THIS FUNDRAISER!
If you would like to donate chili, be the first six people to leave a message below telling me that you want to donate.
Our fundraiser will be held at our dear friend Debbie's home in Burke. Her address will be privately sent out a few days prior to the event.
Contact me if there are any questions.
I'm looking forward to another fantastic event!6 attendees - We will need six people to enter the contest with their very best large crock-pot of chili. Any type of chili you want to bring is fine. Be creative! You will not need to pay the entrance fee if you donate.

"After Dark - A Valentine's Day Spectacular" Burlesque Show
The Birchmere, 3701 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA, USValentine's Day is the perfect day for this sexy but tasteful show for this singles group! As a lover of burlesque, I've attended a few of their performances and am always thoroughly entertained. Feel free to invite a plus one.
"Angie and her husband, Brian Newman, have brought their show After Dark to clubs across the country, from The Box in New York City to the NoMad Library in Las Vegas. The duo blends Brian’s talents as a band leader and trumpet player and Angie’s show-stopping burlesque troupe into a night fit for the Rat Pack. Past guest performers include Lady Gaga, Kelsea Ballerini, Ashanti, and The Doors’ Robby Krieger."
Tickets are $55.30 per person including taxes and fees, and I can get up to 8 tickets for our group to ensure we are sitting together. If we have enough people interested, and I secure your payment early, I should be able to add an additional table. Your reservation will not be secure until I receive your $, and no tickets will be purchased until then. Tickets sell out fast. It is NOT too early to reserve. As soon as you are sure that you can attend, please either send your payment through Zelle (240 446-8744) or Venmo (@Susan-Timm-11).
While the Birchmere does sell food and drinks, we can do better at RT's. I suggest we park at the Birchmere and walk across the street to RT's at 5:30 pm for dinner. That will give us a leisurely time for our meal prior to the show. It makes seating together much simpler if we arrive as a group. RT's is the only creole restaurant in town that I am aware of, so if you like New Orleans style food, you can find it here. If creole is not your thing, they do offer other options.

Word to the wise, it is easiest to back into your parking space at the Birchmere. You'll appreciate this when the show let's out.4 attendees
