Ride Description:

This ride starts at Gas Works Park and takes us along the Burke Gilman Trail to warm up. We turn off the trail at Matthews Beach and head north towards Mukilteo (we don't actually go there though). We will ride around Paine Field in Everett and then head back with a nice downhill to Edmonds where we will have a rest stop for gelato before climbing back up the hill toward Seattle.

Rest Stops: There are two planned rest stops; at mile 19 and the gelato! (and/or espresso) stop at mile 42.

Regroups/Mechanicals: This will be a social ride with waits at the top of hills and all critical turns along the way. We will not stop for mechanical issues. Please come prepared the necessary equipment you need to take care of flats or other problems on your own. Please print a cue sheet from the route link in the event that you get separated from the group. I will have a few cue sheets with me to ensure that you have one to continue the ride on your own.

Requirements: As is customary for all Cascade rides, you must wear a helmet, and have necessary gear and knowledge to fix any flats you might get along the way. Please arrive 20 minutes early to hear the safety briefing, sign the waiver (or check your name of the preregistered list) and to ensure you are ready to ride on time.

RSVP: Please register on the Cascade Bike Club website and sign an ewaiver there (before Sunday ate 7:00 pm, please.) Here is a link to the ride on the club's website: https://www.cascade.org/node/38715 ) The registration link is just below the ride title if you are signed into Cascade.org)

Signing up on this Meetup page as well is appreciated.
